TERMS & CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT BETWEEN CUSTOMER AND BIG BAD WOLF BOOKS SDN. BHD.
This website ("Website") is operated by Big Bad Wolf Books Sdn. Bhd. ("BBW"), a company incorporated and operating in Malaysia. References to the "Website" shall include, without limitation, access via desktop, laptop, mobile devices and/or any other devices capable of connecting to the internet.
The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to BBW. The term "BBW Companies" refers collectively to BBW, its affiliated and/or related companies. The term "you" refers to customers visiting the Website and/or purchasing Hot Boxes through the Website.
The Website is offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of all the terms, conditions and notices set forth below ("Terms of Use"). By accessing or using the Website, purchasing a Hot Box, or participating in the Hot Box event, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Use in force at the material time.
If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not access the Website or make any purchase through it.
BBW reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
USE OF THE WEBSITE
As a condition of your use of the Website, you warrant that:
• You are at least 18 years of age and of sound mind
• You possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement
• You will use the Website only for legitimate purchases
• All information provided by you is true, accurate, current, and complete
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
BBW reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny, restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Website or services at any time without notice.
HOT BOX PRE-SALE & EARLY ACCESS
Each successfully purchased Hot Box grants the purchaser exclusive Pre-Sale Early Access to the Big Bad Wolf Hot Box Book Sale.
Pre-Sale Early Access details:
• Date: 6 February 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
• Venue: Hextar World at Empire City, Exhibition Hall, G Floor
Early access is granted per box purchased and is strictly first come, first served, subject to venue capacity and operational requirements.
BBW does not guarantee immediate entry, uninterrupted access, or availability of specific titles.
ENTRY, REDEMPTION & VERIFICATION
Customers must present valid proof of purchase for entry and redemption.
Acceptable proof of purchase includes:
• Email confirmation
• E-invoice or official receipt
BBW reserves the right to request identification for verification purposes.
Failure to present valid proof of purchase may result in denied entry or forfeiture without refund.
Proof of purchase is single-use, non-transferable, and may not be resold or duplicated.
HOT BOX USAGE RULES
• Hot Boxes must be filled on-site during the event period only
• All books must fit fully within the purchased box
• No stacking, extensions, or box modifications are permitted
• Boxes must remain structurally intact
BBW reserves the right to reject any box that does not comply with these rules. All decisions made by BBW staff on box compliance are final.
BOOK CONDITIONS AND SALE BASIS
Books available at the Hot Box sale primarily consist of new but damaged or imperfect stock, commonly referred to as Grade B books.
These may include, without limitation:
• Minor cover damage
• Dents, bends, or creases
• Printing or binding imperfections
All books are sold on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
You acknowledge and accept the condition of books at the point of selection. No exchanges, replacements, or refunds shall be provided for book condition concerns.
PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
All Hot Box purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable once payment has been successfully processed.
Failure to attend the event or redeem the Hot Box during the event period shall result in automatic forfeiture, with no refund, compensation, or extension.
BBW is not responsible for bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion fees imposed by card issuers or payment providers.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You agree not to:
• Resell Hot Boxes or Pre-Sale Early Access without prior written approval
• Engage in fraudulent, speculative, or abusive transactions
• Disrupt event operations or interfere with other customers
BBW reserves the right to cancel transactions, deny entry, or remove individuals where misconduct, abuse, or suspicious activity is suspected.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights, trademarks, logos, and content displayed on the Website and at the event remain the property of BBW or its licensors.
No part of the Website, branding, or event materials may be used without prior written consent.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BBW disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
BBW shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
• Use of the Website
• Participation in the event
• Book availability or condition
BBW's aggregate liability, if any, shall be limited strictly to the purchase value of the Hot Box.
FORCE MAJEURE
BBW shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, venue limitations, safety concerns, or operational disruptions.
BBW reserves the right to amend event details, access periods, or operations as necessary.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BBW Companies, their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
• Breach of these Terms of Use
• Violation of any applicable law
• Misuse of the Website or event access
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for all disputes arising from or relating to these Terms of Use.
GENERAL
If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and BBW and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.
The English version of these Terms of Use shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
