Finding Fortune

When Ida's mother dies, she is left in the care of her beloved Fa, only it seems that Ida is the one doing most of the caring. Her Grandmama, thinking Fa incapable of holding down a job, takes charge and plans to send Ida to boarding school. Fa sets out for the Klondike to join the gold rush, determined to return rich and prove himself a worthy father. What he doesn't realise is Ida is equally determined - she's coming with him. The journey that follows is one full with hardship, unforgettable sights and experience that will change them forever.
